Join Tacoma Aikikai for a 4-day summer day camp adventure in Aikido. Youth will learn or expand Aikido skills, including rolling and falling, aikido techniques, and leadership skills through this summer camp intensive. Special activities include challenge courses, sword and staff work, aikido skills challenges, and hands-on Japanese cultural lessons. Classes will be held in the Tacoma Aikikai dojo at 2502 S. 12th St. in Central Tacoma. Snacks and bento lunch are included. This camp is designed for Aikido students of all levels, including students with no prior experience.
Taught by Tacoma Aikikai Chief Instructors, Ea Murphy Sensei and Eric Gillet Sensei, who bring decades of experience (and a wealth fun ideas) from teaching aikido to kids in Europe, Japan, and the US.
