Join Tacoma Aikikai for a 3-day summer day camp Light Saber adventure in Aikido. Kids will use their inner force in aikido play, learning the basics to aikido sword work in the process. Camp will culminate in light saber fun in the park. Throughout the camp, aikido martial arts principles are taught through games, partner practice, rolling, and falling. Camp includes Japanese language lessons, crafts & culture, outside play in the park, and morning and afternoon snacks. No aikido or martial arts experience is necessary.
Taught by Tacoma Aikikai Chief Instructors, Ea Murphy Sensei and Eric Gillet Sensei, who bring decades of experience and fun ideas from teaching aikido to kids in Europe, Japan, and the US.

Celebrate Aikido and friendship with an evening of games, food, and movies in the dojo. Parents can drop off and pick up kids anytime between 5pm and 10pm. Friends and siblings are welcome to join in the fun.
